Fall City Family Co-op was founded in 2020 and we continue to seek to meet the needs of this homeschool community. We have around 25 families and 45 kids in the program (Pre-K - 6th Grade).
Mission Statement:
Fall City Family Cooperative (FCFC) exists to empower parents to raise and educate their children in alignment with Biblical values and to empower children to flourish in their God-given design as learners, leaders, and members of society.
Vision Statement:
Fall City Family Cooperative is a community of vibrant, joyful, and engaged parents and children who work collaboratively to create robust and engaging extra-curricular learning opportunities for homeschool families, providing connection, encouragement, and educational enrichment to supplement at-home core curriculum work.
Core Values in Summary:
Scripture as Foundation: The foundation of our program is rooted in the primary theological tenants of the Christian faith. Faith is not a requirement for student or teacher participation, however, teachings from the Bible will be part of our weekly Chapel time and may be integrated into other subjects.
Honor Affirms Values: Honor recognizes that every person – children and adults alike – are created in the image of God, is valuable, and has inherent strengths to offer the world. We are committed to celebrating who students and parents are today and walking with them as they continue to grow and develop into the people they are becoming.
Agape in Action: We believe that true love – God's love – is expressed in action, and thus actively look for ways for love to find expression within this community – both for our students and for parents – through service, volunteerism, and self-sacrifice.
Cultivating Kingdom Values: We believe that all of creation reveals God’s nature and goodness and that integrating His perspective into every subject and situation contributes to human flourishing. While our culture tries to separate faith from more practical pieces of life, we want to help our children see how practical life makes more sense and works better when approached through God’s point of view.
We are thrilled to invite and welcome all friends to God’s table at Fall City Family Cooperative, understanding that each of our faith journeys is unique. FCFC does hold to core theological tenants and while there is no expectation of theological uniformity – and individual affirmation of these tenants is not required – we do commit to conformity to core theological tenants where explicit faith teaching is involved and work to ensure that teaching and modeling at Fall City Family Cooperative does not go against these core beliefs.
